GEMAK CONTRUCTION ELECTRICITY INDUSTRY AND TRADE INCORPORATION

Abdülkadir Kömürcü has been rustling in the contruction and energy sector as a sole proprietorship (private company) since 1970. He first started to work with TEK (state electricity distribution company) afterwords named as TEDAŞ as a contractor with “Kırşehir-Çiçekdağı electricity network system and overhead power transmission line project” in 1972. He carries on working continuously and steady with TEK and TEDAŞ since 1972. He accomplished many government projects as a contractor in 30 years, since 1970 to 2000. Housing and building constructions, city electricity networks, city and street lightings (polygonal poles etc., every kind of power transmission lines (overhead concrete and steel poles, underground cabling, etc.) are the main business subjects of the firm.

Abdülkadir Kömürcü sole company, sometimes established ordinary partnership with other firms in order to built and market housing projects. By this method he has realized many construction projects.

In year 2000, Murat Kömürcü and Oğuz Kömürcü decided to instutionalize and for this purpose they founded GEMAK Construction Electricity Industry and Trade Incorporation. Since 2000, GEMAK Inc is working with its founding partners in the electricity and energy sector.

In year 2006, Murat Kömürcü founded Konut Yapı Construction Industry Trade Incorporation in order to specialize and work in construction sector.

Founding partners are all engineers who are equipped with lots of knowledge and experience in their branches. GEMAK Inc. continues to work as a contractor with TEDAŞ and other associated companies around Turkey.
